All white everything? So last year! Infuse your space with some vivid color with our new favorite - the Bromeliad Plant! Her hot pink and bright purple blooms are the perfect way to add a pop of color to your space. Paired with a minimalist cement vessel, we think she strikes just the right balance between sleek and sassy. Follow our top tips below to keep her looking fabulous!
Bromeliads make great indoor or outdoor plants! They prefer being dry to overwatering, so be careful not to be heavy handed with the water. When the top two inches of soil are completely dry, it’s time for another hydration session! Like most plants, they prefer indirect sunlight, however they can take direct sunlight in moderation. Just don’t let ‘em bake too long or it can hurt their beautiful leaves. And, unlike our hair, Bromeliads thrive in humidity, which most of us don’t have too much of in our house or office, so a quick tip is to mist them with a water bottle every couple of days.
Sizing it up:
This plant is not for small spaces! It’s technically a 6” plant, but really wants to be a glamazon. They vary in height, but most are about 12-18” tall and come dressed up in one of our favorite white and gold ceramic pots. It’s truly a stunnah’!
