We're honored to be dedicating our June With Heart campaign to Karim Home, an orphanage based in Turkey that serves children left without families as a result of the Syrian Civil War. The staff’s mission is to rescue these vulnerable youth and to provide them a safe environment in which to grow up, pursue an education and live happily.
Size it Up: Jasmine is Syria's national flower and is well known for it's beautifully petite flowers and a sweet aroma. This jasmine plant is dressed up in a galvanized vessel and lined with green moss. The plant is kept in its container for easy watering. Simply remove it from the exterior pot and water thoroughly once a week and allow to drain fully. Bonus points for transplanting it outside so you can watch it really grow!
Flower Care: Your jasmine plant is a sunbather and likes partial or direct sunlight! It likes to be watered moderately, letting the soil dry out in between watering though. Try not to overwater, as is usually the case, checking to ensure the soil is dry before watering again (usually once a week is sufficient unless you live in a super dry area).
