If hindsight is 20/20 then I'm going to need a pair of sunglasses and a dark room when we break out the photo album with the prom photos. Where to even begin? We could start with the hair, but then there's the dates and these days of course, we go straight to the flowers. While looking back, it might not have exactly been picture perfect at the time, it felt a lot more special than those grainy photos in a rented ballroom and yards and yards of polyester chiffon would have you think.
It's our turn to tap the next generation in for prom night and, lucky for them, we've learned a thing or two since the last go around! First step, makeover those cheesy corsages and boutonnieres! We've revamped them with some of our absolute favorite details - fresh, seasonal blooms, textured bits and greens, and even velvet ribbon for good measure! With a little help from you (and Farmgirl!), we'd like to think your high schoolers won't have quite the same level of regret that you may have when revisiting those old pics.
To keep these memory makers fresh until party time we recommend a hands-off policy! We've shipped these personals in sealed bags. You might notice some condensation on the interior - this is perfectly normal! Resist the urge to open the bag to get a closer peek or to try these on. The moisture in the bag will help to keep the blooms hydrated! If you have space, pop the box (contents and all) straight into the fridge. If your fridge is on the full side, gently remove the bags from the box and store in a safe spot.
Pro Tip: cooler isn't better in this case. Never put any floral element in the freezer!
They do it for the 'gram. You do it for the memories. Here's to the photo that will live on your fridge for the next ten years!
