We've been shipping nationally to hospitals across the country for a while now. Shipping to hospitals is different depending on medical group, location, state/local regulations as well as other factors.
We want to make sure that the delivery makes it to it's intended recipient so we've put together best practices for shipping to any hospital in the lower 48 United States.
COVID-19: Hospitals are under greater strain with the surge in cases across the country. Some hospitals may not be accepting patient deliveries at all. We strongly recommend contacting the hospital before placing your order.
- Important: Your delivery will follow the hospital’s own security protocol for receiving shipments.
- What we strongly recommend is for you to call the hospital ahead of placing an order to check their delivery policies.
- Here’s how the process works:
- All Deliveries: Your order will be delivered by UPS/FedEx. As a hospital is a business, UPS’s hours of delivery are 8 am to 8 pm each weekday. Unfortunately, We cannot guarantee delivery times outside of the delivery projections provided by UPS.
- WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, THIS INDICATES A SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY TO THE ADDRESS OR DESIGNATED RECEIVING AREA.
- This may mean your recipient has yet to receive the arrangement.
- It is then up to the hospital to deliver the package.
- We strongly recommend calling the hospital to alert them to an incoming delivery of flowers and ensuring they can get the arrangement the final 1% of the way there.

- Please note: We cannot deliver arrangements to the ICU, as fresh flowers are normally restricted from this area. Our recommendation is to wait until your recipient is moved before placing an order for delivery
